With the arrival of the 2022 Fall semester, the opening ceremony of SJTU Pre-University Program was launched on the 7th September, 2022 online as well as on campus. The pre-university students from all around the world and SJTU teachers joined the ceremony together.

The ceremony was broadcast live on zoom. Hu Jie, the dean of the Lifelong Education College of SJTU, warmly welcomed the new students and made an introduction about the school. He encouraged the students to study hard and make their dreams come true.

Ma Wei, the deputy director of the International Affairs Division of SJTU, conveyed his warmest greetings and made an introduction about the university. He told the students to grab the opportunity to experience the Chinese culture and SJTU culture and wished them success.

Zhai Ying, the director of the International Exchange and Innovation Center of the School, lectured the first class for the new students. The ceremony was wrapped up in joyous laughter, immense passion and high expectation.
