Exhibition of Achievements in Further Education in 2023 International Pre-university Program

Meeting in the golden autumn season in September, parting in the flourishing summer. The 2023 application season has come to an end. Looking back at the past, students of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) Pre-University Program have remained true to their original aspirations, forging ahead with determination. This summer, they have lived up to their youth and achieved fruitful results.

As of the publication date, the Pre-University students have secured numerous offers from Undergraduate Program in Chinese and in English at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Furthermore, they have also received admission offers from prestigious universities such as Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Tongji University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beihang University, Xiamen University, Communication University of China, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen Campus). The admitted majors cover various disciplines, including sciences, engineering, medicine, literature, economics, and arts. In addition, some students have also won government scholarships and university scholarships.

Among the 2023 Class of Pre-University students who chose to further their studies in China, the admission rate to Shanghai Jiao Tong University reached nearly 50%, with 40% of admitted students receiving scholarships. The admission rate to China’s top 5 universities has exceeded 70%. The admission rate to C9 universities has surpassed 80%, and the admission rate to Project 985 universities has hit 98%.
