On the afternoon of September 26, SJTU LEC International Education Ceremony for 2025 was successfully held at the auditorium of the Qibao Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Zhao Xin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, delivered the first lecture of the academic year. The Consul General of Indonesia in Shanghai, the Deputy Consul General of Singapore in Shanghai, the Chairman of the Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Branch of the China Education Association for International Exchange, leaders from relevant university departments, representatives from renowned overseas institutions, and over 600 faculty and students of LEC International Education attended the ceremony.

As a representative of LEC International Education faculty, Professor Lin Dai reflected on the college’s journey from its inception to maturity in international education. Through a systematic curriculum, the college has built a bridge for students to prestigious institutions both at home and abroad. Professor Lin emphasized that the faculty team remains committed to professionalism and enthusiasm in supporting students’ academic advancement and personal growth. She encouraged new students to bravely embrace cross-cultural challenges, cultivate independence and teamwork, and become globally competitive youth of the new era.

A solemn award ceremony was held during the event, where distinguished guests presented awards to recipients of the International Foundation Program Freshman Scholarship and the Summer Semester Shining Star Award of the Global Growth Initiative Program.
